I had a BLT and fries: looked appealing and tasted good. Reminds me of going back to a midwest family home. The decor is a mix of western, sports, Indian and vintage and it’s not overwhelming, just here and there. Low key early 2000’s music played overhead. It’s like walking into a working class family place, there’s a comfort here. What is impressive and was pleasantly surprising is the staff. They are bilingual and very friendly, very attentive to exactly what you want. The atmosphere is low key, with little to no noise and the customers ages I saw were middle-aged and above. The menu is simple, but offers enough of a variety for a bite to eat. The building has been around, but it is clean and comfortable. It is rectangular inside with seating along the walls and windows. A very pleasant experience for lunch.

First time Chuck wagon. Cafe con leche was the best I've had. Our waitress Barbara was very attentive, laid back and friendly. Chocolate chip pancakes were delicious along with my over easy fried eggs and sausage links and delicious grits.. Definitely recommend and I hope to be coming back soon.

Great little spot to relax and enjoy some homestyle cooking. Our waitress was amazing and recommended the meatloaf which was amazing. Very personable and friendly service. I would recommend to anyone and if we are ever back in town we will be returning.

Man, what a find! I was driving around after a brutal early morning of Amazon deliveries (you know how it is!), and I was seriously craving some good grits. I actually Googled "grits near me," which is how I stumbled upon this place. I'd seen a review that mentioned "classic diner vibes," and that totally sold me. Walking in, it was like stepping into a different world although it's a bit dated, everyone was so friendly – not just the staff, but the other customers too! I got a bunch of "good mornings" from complete strangers, which was honestly so refreshing. It felt like a real community, a family kind of atmosphere. My server was a total sweetheart. She knew the menu like the back of her hand and was super helpful in guiding me to the perfect breakfast. I ordered the Chuckwagon with eggs over medium, pan sausage, home fries and a side of cheese grits. My server even pointed out a way I could save a few bucks, which I really appreciated. It's awesome when servers are that considerate. The food came out fast and was exactly what I was hoping for – hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. I got over-medium eggs and grits, and when I poured the grits over my eggs, my server gave me a knowing look and said, "Now that's how you do it – the classic Southern way!" That just made my day. It brought back all these memories of having breakfast with my grandparents – those classic diner breakfasts that just feel like home. It was a real nostalgia trip. Seriously, the whole experience was just what I needed – good food, good people, and a great atmosphere. It just felt... good. I did notice the prices were a little higher than what I saw in some older menu pics online, but honestly, with everything going on these days, it's not surprising. Even with the slightly higher prices, I absolutely loved this place. I'm definitely going back soon. It's the perfect spot for a comforting, classic breakfast that just hits the spot.

Great flashback to an Americana diner with authentic diner coffee! Hard to find that in Miami. Great biscuits and gravy. Tasty egg salad sandwich. Exactly as you'd expect. Very attentive, friendly staff who speaks English clearly. What a wonderful find on Bird Road. We will be back

Friendly customer service! Such a cute style mom & pop place! Great portions! We both got the Eggs Benedict but the special with corn beef hash! About 16 per person, since it was the special. I got the potatoes on the side and my boyfriend got grits, we both loved it. We will definitely be back!! Hours vary just like a small business, open early and close before 3pm. Call beforehand just to make sure they are open!

Come here for breakfast on a regular basis, and patronizing this establishment is an absolute pleasure! The food's great (and is at my table in a jiffy), the restaurant atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff always have a cheerful disposition.

So let me start off by saying I’m 45yrs old and I have never even thought about stopping at this place that was until my wife told me that place is amazing. I thought for sure she was off her rocker since then I’ve been here about 20 time lol sometimes I even grab breakfast to go it’s that great Mike and his son are the owners and operators with the most amazing staff I encourage you if you’re Not trying to drive an hour and a half down South to overpay for American style Breakfast and just want A simple bacon eggs, pancakes, waffle, grits, biscuits and gravy. This is your spot.
